I went to the newly opened CB2 store in Los Angeles and got these floor can lights (on sale for $9.99 each from $19.99). I love them!
I also saw this couch there, and I must report that it does not hold the lines as well as I had hoped after all. People must have been trying it out quite a bit, because it looked more like a futon than a pristine, modern couch. Still, it does make for pretty good middle ground.
I saw one of these hanging hammock chairs on someone’s balcony and it looks great in real life!
The EcoTowl is holding up great in terms of durability, but I left it crumpled and wet, and it developed a stench. So that one is out, but lucky for me, there are two per pack, so I’m onto the next one. I promise not to leave it wet and crumpled this time.
After the chalkboard wall post, I came across a chalkboard cookie jar at Target. I posted in on the MODERnestS Facebook page, which I encourage you to join and connect with other modern design lovers and designers.

Imaginining myself in the hammock chair after a long day ofwork – what can be better than feet up in the air!
Toss the Eco Towel in the microwave for about 30 seconds. I heard that kills the bacteria that is causing the smell. Works the same for sponges.
