DIY Fabric Chandelier!

Fabric+Chandelier DIY Fabric Chandelier!I sense a trip to Goodwill in the very near future. This Apartment Therapy home tour gave me a great idea for a modern chandelier DIY. I had some stretchy, white fabric that I had been playing with about a year ago and if I stretched it over an old chandelier, I am convinced I would get a very similar result as the one pictured here.

It does not matter if the chandelier looks to be in good shape or has a nice color as you will cover it. You would just be after a dramatic shape. And it does not even have to work. In fact you would leave out any light-bulbs (such as not to start a fire due to having fabric touching light bulbs) and then place a hanging light source in the middle to illuminate the entire piece from within. What do you think? Will this work? I’m tempted to try.
