Felt Rug DIY

I spotted this felt ball rug on emmas design blog and thought of my sister in law who is obsessed with felt and is very much a fan of the balls and called me a few months ago to tell me that she purchased a gazillion felt balls online and wanted ideas of something to do with them. Well…I think this is a fabulous idea.

Labor intensive…yes. Fun…yes. Colorful…yes. So…how would you make this? I have a few ideas mainly involving thread and glue.
