I must confess that one year I left my tree up past Valentine's day...it was a small potted tree and at a certain point it became a thing of how long can I keep it up.

I took my tree down Christmas morning. My family gathers at my sister's house to open presents so the tree was not a necessity and I find historically that if I don't get the tree down before New Years, it stays up until Valentine's Day.
