Since one of my most prominent style preferences is rustic revival, I had a lot of fun looking around antique shops in Oregon.</p>
<p>The color scheme in this pottery store pulled me in. I absolutely love white pottery and the contrast with the awesome blue color they chose for the shelves drew me in from the outside to take a picture.</p>
<p><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_hA_SG399GNQ/SkPUmVWQwWI/AAAAAAAABgo/L4A7Fv_r98g/s1600-h/library+cards+filing.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 289px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_hA_SG399GNQ/SkPUmVWQwWI/AAAAAAAABgo/L4A7Fv_r98g/s320/library+cards+filing.JPG" alt=" Oregon &quot;Experience Objects&quot;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5351354537276916066" border="0" title="Oregon &quot;Experience Objects&quot;" /></a>Remember the days when there were actual library cards at the library? I must admit I hated having to look through cards to find the right book, but I do love these old library card filing drawers. This candy store is using these for their organizing needs, but I can see this being really fun on a desk at home, or even hanging on the wall in the entryway.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_hA_SG399GNQ/SkPU3KOflgI/AAAAAAAABgw/Q10a4uFNBRk/s1600-h/naughty+hand.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_hA_SG399GNQ/SkPU3KOflgI/AAAAAAAABgw/Q10a4uFNBRk/s320/naughty+hand.JPG" alt=" Oregon &quot;Experience Objects&quot;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5351354826349319682" border="0" title="Oregon &quot;Experience Objects&quot;" /></a><br />When looking through some glassware, guess what popped out? The finger! It gave me a chuckle to discover this almost rude glass hand. Would be a fun way to serve up maple syrup with pancakes to house guests.</p>
<p>I love the shape, material and print of this long pillow with bathing suit beauties. A great one to have just about anywhere, especially outdoors if you have an ocean view.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_hA_SG399GNQ/SkPVAe-GD_I/AAAAAAAABg4/0mWEjtYsYrw/s1600-h/pillow.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_hA_SG399GNQ/SkPVAe-GD_I/AAAAAAAABg4/0mWEjtYsYrw/s320/pillow.JPG" alt=" Oregon &quot;Experience Objects&quot;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5351354986536505330" border="0" title="Oregon &quot;Experience Objects&quot;" /></a><br />There are some amazing, beautifully designed old cigar boxes. These almost make current packaging designers seem lazy. There is so much detail. These are really works of art and would look awesome on a desk for organizational purposes.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_hA_SG399GNQ/SkPVTz4R-qI/AAAAAAAABhA/q59EwLuMvU8/s1600-h/cigar+boxes.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 306px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_hA_SG399GNQ/SkPVTz4R-qI/AAAAAAAABhA/q59EwLuMvU8/s320/cigar+boxes.JPG" alt=" Oregon &quot;Experience Objects&quot;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5351355318566779554" border="0" title="Oregon &quot;Experience Objects&quot;" /></a><br />This 1920&#8217;s chair is the latest addition to the eclectic chair collection. It is a folding chair by Louis Rastetter and Sons. These were made for card tables, churches and town halls. It has held up wonderfully and I am so in love with all the lines in its design. It is walnut, black leather and metal. Very sturdy.</p>
<p>I also picked up that little painting of a church. I just loved the mood and the colors. I believe in being restrained in what you buy and bring into the home, but that being said, I really enjoy acquiring pieces on my travels.</p>
<p><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_hA_SG399GNQ/SkPV8zYByeI/AAAAAAAABhQ/-AgLWSHXqI8/s1600-h/DSC02612.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_hA_SG399GNQ/SkPV8zYByeI/AAAAAAAABhQ/-AgLWSHXqI8/s320/DSC02612.JPG" alt=" Oregon &quot;Experience Objects&quot;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5351356022806137314" border="0" title="Oregon &quot;Experience Objects&quot;" /></a><br />Every day objects turn into &#8220;experience objects&#8221; when you acquire them on your travels or walks by the beach. The act of finding them and introducing them into your home has memories attached and that makes the object more active, more alive with associated experiences out in the world. Experiences out in the world bring &#8220;experience objects&#8221; in.</p>
